However we are well aware that for some of you a ham isn't a ham unless you've cooked it yourself!

Our gammon joints are uncooked, cured and ready to boil or bake.

To boil your gammon, place it in a pan and cover with cold water, add cloves, black peppercorns or bay leaves to flavour if required. Bring the water to the boil, when the water boils, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes per 500g plus 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.

Keep refrigerated between 0-5°C. Suitable for freezing.

British Pork, Salt, Demerara Sugar; Preservatives: Potassium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite; Antioxidant: Sodium Ascorbate.
Prepared from 105g of raw pork per 100g product.
