Reared and grown in Devon, Creedy Carver ducks live as small flocks with daytime access to grassy paddocks.They have access to water for swimming and are fed a totally natural diet.This all results in slow, healthy, natural growth and the tenderest, most flavoursome meat. Remove the duck from the refrigerator at least 30 mins before cooking. Ensure all packaging is removed. Preheat oven to 200°C, (180°C Fan), Gas Mk 6. Pat the skin of the duck with kitchen towel to remove any excess moisture. Prick the skin around the duck legs. Season with salt and pepper. Place in a tin, on a rack in the middle of the oven and cook for 40mins per Kg plus 10 mins extra. Remove the duck and allow to rest for 10-20 mins before carving.
Store at 0-5°C. Store fresh product away from cooked food. Suitable for freezing, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and consume within one month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Once defrosted do not refreeze.
