Hogget is an older lamb aged between one and two years. This extra ageing gives the meat a fuller and better flavour with the tenderness of lamb.

The hoggets come from farms in the Yorkshire Dales where they are free to graze on the stunning landscapes all year round. Encased in a suet crust these puddings are unbelievably good.

No accompaniment is needed although they are delicious served with some buttered cabbage alongside.

A great British classic and the ultimate comfort food.

Packed in boxes of two pies, each will serve one generously.

Heating Guide : If frozen defrost thoroughly before heating. Pierce film lid either steam for 15-20mins or microwave for 1Min 40s (800W microwave)per pie or until core temperature reaches 75°C.  For a crisp baked pudding, remove film and bake for 20 mins at 180°C.

Keep refrigerated between 0-5°C.
