Important information about your online order

Due to the short shelf life of certain products, some items can only be despatched on limited days of the week. This restriction will be reflected in the availability of delivery days when you go to the Checkout. If you find that the list of available delivery days is too restrictive, the products that may be causing the restriction should be identifiable in the Order Summary to the right of the screen. You may wish to remove such items from your order and order them separately in order to achieve the most convenient delivery arrangements.

The emailed confirmation of your order you receive is automatic and may not reflect our actual stock levels which can fall behind online orders during busy periods. We double-check each order in the office, so if there are any issues with your order we will contact you by telephone or email during office hours.

Is your site secure?

Our website is protected by a GlobalSign Secure SSL. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer and in short, it's the standard technology for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data that is being sent between two systems, preventing anyone from reading and modifying any information transferred, including potential personal details. We do not hold or see any payment information on our site or servers, all payment data is fully encrypted and only readable by your banks security system.

Is there a minimum order?

Don't worry, we do not have a minimum order. However, we do ask our customers to recognise the rising costs of insulated packaging and delivery and try to place larger orders where possible. Do you remember the old slogan, "Save water, bath with a friend!"?  We wouldn't go quite that far but do suggest that sharing an order with a friend will save on both packaging materials and delivery fuel. Remember, if your order is above our current threshold (see your catalogue or the website), you will not pay any delivery charges for delivery to Mainland UK addresses.

Please remember also that nearly everything we sell is suitable for home freezing, so we'd urge you to take the opportunity to make up your order with other products you enjoy or would like to try in the future!

When do you take payment?

When you place your order we will normally ship your goods straight away, unless you request us to delay delivery until a more convenient date in the future. Payment is therefore taken at the time the order is placed, irrespective of whether it is made by cheque or credit/debit card.

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes, we offer Gift Vouchers in multiples of £25, £50 or £100 value.

Our gift vouchers are available for purchase either via our website or over the telephone. They can be redeemed over the phone or online. You can purchase vouchers here.

How can I pay for my order?

Secure payment for online orders can be made by credit/debit card or Paypal.

For orders placed by telephone, we accept all major cards including American Express (but not Diners Club).

You can also pay using Dukeshill Gift Vouchers. All payments should be in sterling GBP.
