by curing and gently smoking the very best part of the loin. Sold as a piece it is delicious sliced thinly and served cold; or re-heated, sliced thickly (like a steak) with a pile of mash, cabbage, greens or sauerkraut. Delicious if glazed using our glazes too.

Store below 5oC, Once open eat within 3 days.

Very disappointing compared with other Dukeshill products. This bared little resemblance to the Kassler served in Germany. It was bland and lacked texture. Would not recommend.

Lovely lightly smoked flavour. I took a bit of the extra fat off and then spread a maple and orange glaze on it before popping into a medium/hot oven for about 40 mins. It was delicious.

This might not be like the German original, nevertheless it is excellent ! Lean, moist, melt-in-the mouth tender with just the right amount of smokiness, simply could not be better.

This cannot be called Kassler. It did not have the flavour of a traditional Kassler only like smoked ham.
