The York is the quintessential English Ham. Dry cured and matured over a period of at least ten weeks, it develops a wonderful depth of flavour and a firm yet succulent texture. The curing process means that the York is somewhat drier and saltier than the Wiltshire.
We only use British pigs to produce our York Ham.
Please note - our cooked hams come ready to eat but "unadorned" - we enclose a complementary sachet of breadcrumbs, or you may choose to use one of the glazing suggestions from the guide booklet which accompanies every ham.
